On the afternoon of October 22, Cao Lanh City Police confirmed that a traffic collision had just occurred in the area, resulting in one death.
According to initial verification results, at around 12:15 p.m. the same day, a car with license plate 66A 261.75 driven by Mr. Ngo Qui Trong (born in 2000, residing in Hamlet 4, Ba Sao Commune, Cao Lanh District) reached the intersection between Tran Thi Nhuong and Tran Thi Thu streets, in Hamlet 2, Ward 4 (Cao Lanh City) and collided with a three-wheeled vehicle driven by Mr. Nguyen Huy Duong (born in 1972, residing in Hoa Thuan Ward, Cao Lanh City).
The collision resulted in Mr. Nguyen Huy Duong being seriously injured. Although he was taken to the emergency room by local people, the victim died on the way to the hospital due to severe injuries.
Currently, the authorities are coordinating to verify and clarify for handling according to the provisions of law.
