On July 1, at the headquarters of the People's Council - People's Committee of Hung Yen province, the Provincial People's Committee Office held a meeting with cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers on the occasion of the official operation of the local government apparatus at two levels after the merger.
In recent times, the Office of the People's Committees of Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces has proactively coordinated and closely followed the direction of the Central and the province to prepare conditions for organizing the new apparatus. The merger of the two offices has been seriously implemented, from organizing the apparatus, staffing to arranging facilities, ensuring smooth operation from July 1, 2025.
The Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee Office currently has 9 departments, branches, and affiliated units with more than 100 cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers. The units include: Economic 1, Economic 2, Foreign Affairs, Department of Education - Literature, Internal Affairs, Administration - Management, General; Citizen Reception Committee; Public Administration Service Center and Administrative Procedure Control; Provincial Information - Conference Center.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Dinh Gia Dung emphasized: The arrangement and consolidation of administrative units is a major policy to streamline the apparatus and improve the operational efficiency of authorities at all levels. In particular, the merger of Hung Yen - Thai Binh into Hung Yen province will create new development space, maximizing potential and advantages in the new period.
Mr. Dung requested the collective of cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Office to promote a sense of responsibility, solidarity, improve the quality of advice and service for the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee. Each unit needs to quickly stabilize the organization, clearly arrange people - clear work - clear responsibilities - clear results, ensuring no work interruption.
In addition, the Office needs to continue reviewing working conditions, grasping and promptly resolving the concerns and aspirations of staff to create peace of mind and stability in the transition period, towards building a happy, civilized and effective office environment.
