According to a quick report from the People's Committee of Tien Luc commune, by the morning of October 11, although the Thuong River water had receded about 60cm, there were still 5 traffic cut off points in the commune.

In addition, about 900 hectares of rice, crops, and fruit trees were flooded; 25 locations on traffic routes, 13 pumping stations were flooded, damaged...
The commune has 16 km of dykes along the Thuong River. Historical rain and floods caused flooding of some dykes in the villages of Tay, Dinh, Trung Pho, Bo Lo; caused overflow and landslides in the villages of Dun, Ngoai, and Soi. Up to now, no human casualties have been recorded.

The Civil Defense Command of Tien Luc commune has urgently directed the work of overcoming natural disasters; coordinated to support the transportation of essential necessities (food, drinking water, medicine, etc.) to isolated areas, ensuring that people do not lack hunger or water for daily use while waiting for water to recede and temporarily fix traffic.
According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Bac Ninh province, as of 10:00 a.m. on October 11, the whole province still has 70 villages, neighborhoods, and residential groups in the communes and wards of Tien Luc, My Thai, Da Mai, Lang Giang, Viet Yen, Van Ha, Hop Thinh, Hiep Hoa, Dong Ky, Yen The, Bo Ha, Kinh Bac, Tam Giang with about 11,750 households still isolated by floodwaters or having to use boats and rafts to access.

Currently, flood water on riverbanks is receding. However, it is still at a high level, posing a high risk of landslides, slides, and overflows.
Along with ensuring necessities, food quantities, and provisions for people in isolated areas, the Provincial Civil Defense Command requests the civil defense commands of communes and wards along the river to continue to implement the patrol regime, proactively detect and handle incidents of dykes and irrigation works according to regulations.
