Currently, Ho Chi Minh City agencies are coordinating with ministries and branches to carry out the next legal procedures to implement the investment project to complete the My Phuoc - Tan Van road under the BOT form, 64 km long. This project was previously implemented by the People's Council of Binh Duong province (formerly) in a resolution at the end of June 2025.
The project passes through 13 communes and wards including: Dong Hoa, Tan Dong Hiep, An Phu, Thuan Giao, Phu Loi, Binh Duong, Chanh Hiep, Hoa Loi, Thoi Hoa, Chanh Phu Hoa, Ben Cat, Bau Bang, Tru Van Tho.
According to records, this 64 km long route was invested in and built by Becamex Group, but has not been completed. The starting point of the route is at Tan Van intersection and the end point is at the intersection with Ho Chi Minh Road.
Currently, more than 37 km with 10 lanes have just been completed. Of which, there are 6 car lanes and 4 mixed car lanes parallel to both sides.
The section of about 2 km from Cay Truong Industrial Park to Ho Chi Minh Road has only 2 lanes. The section of about 25 km from Dinh Hoa roundabout to Tan Van intersection has just been invested with 6 lanes.
Notably, the traffic volume on My Phuoc - Tan Van road is currently increasing. The section from Dinh Hoa roundabout to Tan Van intersection often experiences congestion and congestion at intersections.
According to Becamex Group, many projects need to be carried out to complete the construction of this 64 km route. In particular, it is necessary to invest in 6 overpasses along the route at major intersections.
In particular, it is expected to build an overpass on My Phuoc - Tan Van road with a scale of 4 lanes at the intersections with National Highway 1K, D743, Phu Loi road, Tao Trong road, DT 741 road and NA3 road. In addition, invest in 2 overpasses with a scale of 2 mixed lanes across My Phuoc - Tan Van road at the intersection with Ba Lan Xi road and DH 601 road.
