The emergency ground evacuation procedure drill for the Airbus A320 aircraft involved more than 300 people.
The drill was conducted in accordance with the regulations of the Aviation Safety Regulations issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, as well as the emergency response plan of Vietnam Airlines Corporation.
The hypothetical situation is that an accident occurred when a plane carrying 186 passengers was about to take off from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. The flight crew decided to perform an emergency evacuation; the flight attendants opened the emergency exit and guided the passengers to escape, using standard commands.
According to the assessment of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, the drill met the requirements on time and emergency escape procedures with good efficiency.

Through the drill, the flight crew, flight attendants, and ground staff also accumulated more experience and handling skills, ready to respond to all situations with the highest goal of ensuring passenger safety."
The drill was attended by representatives of the National Traffic Safety Committee, Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation, Vietnam Airports Corporation, Northern Airports Authority, and more than 300 personnel directly participating in the drill, chaired by Mr. Le Hong Ha - General Director, Chairman of the Safety Committee of Vietnam Airlines Corporation.
