Quang Ngai - An accident occurred while using a boat to fish at night on An Khe lagoon, causing the death of a couple, leaving behind 6 children.

On the morning of November 6, Mr. Tran Duy Khanh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Pho Khanh Commune (Duc Pho Town, Quang Ngai) informed that a boat sinking incident had just occurred in the area, causing a couple to drown.

Initial information, Mr. Pham Xuan Canh (61 years old) and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bong (56 years old) in Dien Truong village used a boat to go fishing at night on An Khe lagoon. At 8:00 p.m. on November 5, when the boat sank, people organized a search for Mr. Canh and his wife.

At 8:30 p.m. the same day, people found the bodies of Mr. Canh and Mrs. Bong, then brought them to shore and took them home to prepare for the funeral. According to local authorities, Mr. Canh and Mrs. Bong's family had 6 children.

Upon receiving information that a fishing couple had their boat sink while fishing at night, leading to their deaths, the leader of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province said that they would visit and support the victims' families.

According to the Quang Ngai Hydrometeorological Station, from the night of November 5 to November 6, many places in Quang Ngai province will continue to have moderate to heavy rain. The sea area of ​​Quang Ngai province (including Ly Son island district) will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind of level 6 - 7.
