The incident of the passenger canoe capsizing in Phu Quoc special zone occurred at noon on July 11, with 21 victims hospitalized at the Sun Hospital. Among them, 4 people have stable health and have returned on their own, 15 people have been checked and 2 people are in critical condition, and are being focused on rescue by doctors.
According to the plan, tonight, a team of doctors from Cho Ray Hospital (HCMC) will be present in Phu Quoc to strengthen treatment support for 2 critical cases.
Also this evening, leaders of Phu Quoc special zone went to the hospital to visit the victims.
For the bodies of 15 unfortunate victims who died, they are currently being preserved at the Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone Medical Center.
