On July 21, Chairman of Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone People's Committee (An Giang) Tran Minh Khoa visited and presented gifts to tourists who were injured in the canoe capsizing incident and are being treated at Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
After 8 days of efforts to snatch life from the hands of death, information from Cho Ray Hospital said that the most seriously injured victim in the canoe capsizing in Phu Quoc, from a very critical prognosis, has miraculously recovered. Behind that resurrection is not only the skills and dedication of doctors and nurses, but also the close, responsible and warm-hearted companionship of the Phu Quoc local government, An Giang province.
No longer the anxiety and stress of the days in the emergency room. Currently, the patient is completely awake, breathing room air and vital signs are stable. The patient has officially left the Emergency Resuscitation Department to switch to a separate care, treatment and rehabilitation regimen.
Doctor CK2 Tran Thanh Linh - Head of the Emergency Resuscitation Department, Cho Ray Hospital said: "Up to this point, the patient's health has stabilized and has many very good changes. The patient has self-ventilated, blood pressure is stable and completely awake. Currently, the patient is being cared for in a separate regimen from physical therapy to nutrition. It is expected that if this recovery momentum continues to be maintained, the patient will soon be eligible for discharge.
