According to initial information, at around 6:00 p.m. on December 14, Ms. T.T.Q (22 years old, residing in Bien Hoa City) was driving a car with license plate 60A-460.56 on National Highway 1A from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai province.
When he reached Dong Nai bridge, bordering Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces, he suddenly jumped over the bridge railing and fell into Dong Nai river.
Immediately after receiving the information, the functional forces of Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces and related forces arrived at the scene to organize search and rescue.
At around 8:30 p.m. on December 14, authorities found the location of the crashed vehicle about 50 meters from the incident site.
Rescuers coordinated with people to dive down and tie ropes to secure the car to determine its location.
At around 11pm on December 14, Ms. T.T.Q's body was brought ashore.
In the early morning of December 15, the car was salvaged to shore by authorities.
Currently, the authorities are continuing to verify and clarify the cause of the incident.
