At around 2:20 p.m. on October 17, Nguyen Duy H (born in 2010, residing in Troi 4 area, Hoanh Bo ward, Ha Long city) drove a Wave motorbike with license plate 89K8-27.XX carrying two classmates, Pham Thanh N (residing in area 8, Hoanh Bo ward) and Nguyen Manh D (residing in Van Yen area, Viet Hung ward, Ha Long city). All three are students of class 9A4, Troi Secondary School, Hoanh Bo ward.
When reaching An Bien village (National Highway 279), Le Loi commune, Ha Long city, H's motorbike collided with a truck with license plate 14N-86.XX parked on the side of the road in the same direction. Then, the motorbike continued to collide with a car with license plate 14A-854.XX driven by Nguyen Huy H (born in 1994, residing in Thong Nhat commune, Ha Long city).
The consequences of the accident caused N and D to die on the spot.
After the accident, Nguyen Duy H panicked and left the scene by motorbike, then notified his family and the authorities.
Ha Long City authorities are investigating and clarifying the incident and will handle it according to the law.
