On July 29, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province approved the Ma Da Bridge Construction Investment Project.
Accordingly, the Ma Da Bridge Construction Investment Project, including the approach road, has an starting point intersecting with Provincial Road 753; the end point intersecting with the connecting road from Ma Da Bridge to Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4, in the area of Tan Loi and Tri An communes, Dong Nai province.
Ma Da Bridge is a traffic project, Group C project; level III with a design speed of 80km/h.
In the first phase of investment, Ma Da bridge has a cross-section of 20.5m wide with 4 lanes for motor vehicles, 2 lanes for rudimentary vehicles, median strip, railing.
The road leading to the bridge is invested in construction with a road surface width of 4 lanes for motor vehicles, 2 lanes for rudimentary vehicles on both sides, a median strip, and a sidewalk on both sides of the road. At the same time, the project will also invest in other related auxiliary works.
The Ma Da Bridge Construction Investment Project has a total investment of more than 133 billion VND. Phase 1 of the project is divided into investment phases from 2025-2027. The completed phase will be studied for investment after assessing the investment efficiency of the phased phase.
The Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board is the unit assigned by the Provincial People's Committee as the project investor.
According to the Provincial People's Committee, the investment in the construction of Ma Da bridge aims to connect convenient traffic between the old Dong Nai province and the old Binh Phuoc province, creating a smooth traffic system in the new Dong Nai province, thereby serving the travel and transportation needs of the people.
At the same time, form an inter-regional traffic axis connecting the Central Highlands provinces to Long Thanh International Airport (Long Thanh airport) and Cai Mep - Thi Vai deep-water port, creating conditions to promote the development of inter-provincial logistics infrastructure, industrial parks... promoting the socio-economic development of localities.
