Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee has just approved the Project to build a road connecting the CT. 07 expressway to Bac Kan ward.
The project is implemented in Bac Kan ward, invested by the Northern Thai Nguyen Provincial Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board.
The project belongs to group B, class II traffic works, with a total investment of 775 billion VND from local budget funds, implemented in the period 2026 - 2029.
The route has a length of about 2.54km, starting point at Km0+000, Truong Chinh - Phung Chi Kien - Kon Tum intersection, Bac Kan ward.
The ending point is at Km2+540.57, connecting to the Km26+227.97 intersection of the Cho Moi - Bac Kan route construction investment project, belonging to the CT. 07 Hanoi - Thai Nguyen - Bac Kan - Cao Bang expressway plan.
The road is invested with a roadbed width of 58m, including motorized lanes, service roads, sidewalks, median strips, side median strips and related technical infrastructure items.
Phase 2026 - 2029, the Project will invest in a 58m wide roadbed, complete the median strip and 6 lanes for motorized vehicles.
On the route, a bridge over Nguyen Van To street will be built with reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete, with design load HL93.
The project also invests in horizontal drainage, green trees, lighting on the median strip, traffic safety system and some other technical infrastructure works.
