According to initial information, the incident occurred at about 1:40 pm on June 30 at Km 101+600 of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway section passing through Hien Luong commune, Phu Tho province (direction to Lao Cai).
At the above time, a container truck with license plate: 89H-062.96 pulling a trailer with license plate 89R-027.86 was traveling when it suddenly lost control, crashed into the guardrail and median strip, then overturned to the opposite side of the road, blocking part of the road surface.
Fortunately, the accident did not cause any casualties, however, vehicles were damaged, and damage to the traffic infrastructure system is being statistically determined.
Along with that, because the vehicle overturned across the road, functional forces have organized traffic diversion and regulation. Currently, vehicles are only circulating in a limited one-way direction through the accident area.
The cause of the accident is being further verified and clarified by functional agencies.
