On April 14, news from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police said that from April 1 to 12, the unit discovered and made records of handling 89 cases of violations of regulations on railway traffic order and safety through on-site surveillance camera systems and image recording devices.
The total fine for these cases is about 60 million VND. The main violations include not complying with red lights at the level crossing, intentionally overtaking when the barrier has been lowered, stopping, and parking vehicles within the railway safety corridor.
Notably, on April 11, at level crossings with warnings and automatic barriers at Km1291+282 and Km1236+168, functional forces recorded two serious violations.

Specifically, a container truck and a truck intentionally crossed the barrier when there was a signal that a train was coming.
The above incidents did not cause any casualties, but posed a potential risk of particularly serious traffic accidents, threatening the safety of drivers and train operations.
The Traffic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police said that strengthening the handling of violations through camera surveillance systems and image recording equipment aims to improve the efficiency of ensuring railway traffic order and safety, especially at level crossings and open paths that pose a risk of accidents.
Functional agencies recommend that traffic participants strictly comply with traffic lights, warning bells and barriers at intersections with railways; absolutely do not overtake when the barrier is closed or moving to ensure safety.
In the coming time, functional forces will continue to expand the scope of supervision, and at the same time promote propaganda to raise people's awareness of law compliance when participating in traffic at railway - road intersections, contributing to preventing accidents.
