A tractor-trailer suddenly caught fire fiercely on National Highway 1, passing through Linh Xuan Ward, Ho Chi Minh City in the early morning of August 19. Firefighting forces arrived in time to extinguish the fire, the driver was lucky to escape.
The incident occurred at around 0:00 a.m. the same day. According to initial information, the tractor with a HCMC license plate was driven by a driver named T, traveling on National Highway 1 from Dong Nai Bridge to HCMC.

When reaching the section near the No. 1 pedestrian overpass, the driver suddenly discovered a fire breaking out from the front of the vehicle. The fire quickly spread, engulfing the hood.
Discovering the incident, driver T quickly left the cabin and tried to put out the fire but failed.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PC07), Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched many fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene. After a short time, the fire was completely controlled. However, the entire front of the tractor-trailer was burned down.
The Rach Chiec Traffic Police Team was also present to regulate traffic and support the protection of the scene. Currently, the cause and damage of the fire are being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
