Hanoi - A 29-seat passenger bus was stuck on the Tay Son - Thai Ha overpass, causing traffic obstruction.

Information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police, a driver has just been fined for driving a 29-seat passenger car onto the Tay Son - Thai Ha overpass, colliding with a height limit bar, obstructing traffic.

Accordingly, at around 12:35 on August 24, the Patrol Control Team of Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 - Hanoi Traffic Police Department discovered a 29-seat passenger car with license plate 34H-053xx, driven by driver L.V.V (born 1967, residing in Hai Phong), moving to the Tay Son - Thai Ha overpass.

This overpass has signs prohibiting passenger vehicles and a height limit system. When entering, the vehicle collided with the limit bar, warping some signs, damaging the part on the roof and falling onto the road, obstructing traffic.

Immediately after the discovery, the traffic police force quickly deployed traffic flow, guided the vehicle through the area, and coordinated with the maintenance unit to fix the problem.

After about 20 minutes, traffic returned to normal.

Working with the working group, driver L.V.V admitted that due to lack of attention, he drove into a prohibited road. The traffic police have drawn up a record of administrative violations for the violation of: "Driving a vehicle into a road with a sign prohibiting entry for the type of vehicle being driven", and temporarily confiscated the driver's license for handling.

According to Decree No. 168/2024, the above behavior will be fined from 4 to 6 million VND and have 2 points deducted from the driver's license.

There have been many similar incidents at this overpass location before.
