At around 10:00 a.m. on April 8, a truck with license plate 43S-45xx driven by driver N.H (born in 1971, residing in Thanh Khe District) was traveling from Dien Bien Phu Street (Thanh Khe District) to Ton Duc Thang Street (Lien Chieu District). When going down the overpass, the vehicle suddenly lost control, plunged into a hard median strip, knocked down a lamp post and lay cross-legged.
Driver H. said the car was still operating normally when going uphill, but suddenly lost the advantage when going uphill. To avoid colliding with the vehicles in front, Mr. H. drove the vehicle into the median strip.
The accident caused the oil of a truck to overflow onto the road, causing some motorbikes to slide. The traffic police force had to use sand to treat the oil stain. Fortunately, there were no human casualties.
At the scene, the front of the truck was severely damaged, the windshield was broken. Da Nang City Traffic Police were present to regulate traffic and investigate the cause of the incident.
