Regarding the case of a clip circulating on social media on June 11, recording a scene of a man driving a three-wheeled vehicle in the wrong direction on Phan Van Hon Street, Tan Thoi Nhat Ward, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City, on June 12, a representative of the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Ho Chi Minh City Police said that they had drawn up a record of administrative violations against the owner of the above vehicle.
Accordingly, as soon as the information was received, on the afternoon of June 11, the Binh Trieu Traffic Police Team (under PC08 Department) coordinated with Tan Thoi Nhat Ward Police to quickly verify, bringing the violator and the vehicle to the Ward Police headquarters for questioning.
Through verification and working with violators, the incident occurred at 12:47 on June 10, 2025. Mr. D.Q.H (residing in District 12) drove a three-wheeled vehicle with license plate 63H5-03xx in the wrong direction from Phan Van Hon Street to Tan Thoi Nhat 01 Street to Phan Van Hon shop at 158 Phan.
Mr. H's behavior was recorded by people and posted on social networks, causing public outrage.
At the police station, Mr. H admitted to the violation according to the above clip.
The Binh Trieu Traffic Police Team has drawn up an administrative violation record against Mr. H for the following violations: "Driving a vehicle without following on the right side ( going in the wrong direction); no driver's license; no vehicle registration certificate", and at the same time drawn up a record of temporary detention of the vehicle according to regulations.
