Dak Nong - Authorities in the Central Highlands provinces have just discovered a number of fake documents related to the inspection and supervision of food production and trading establishments.

On September 29, the Team for monitoring and handling bad and toxic information on cyberspace in Dak Nong province discovered a number of fake documents related to the health sector.

Accordingly, on social networking sites, a number of documents issued by the Dak Nong Provincial Department of Health are circulating about the content of the Inspection and Supervision Team that will conduct inspections of food production and trading establishments in the province.

The document has the signature of the leader of the Department of Health, along with the red seal and logo of the health sector. However, according to the verification results of the Team for monitoring and handling bad and toxic information on the cyberspace of Dak Nong province, the issuance in the form of such an official dispatch is a fake official dispatch of the Dak Nong Department of Health.

In response to this incident, the Dak Nong Provincial Department of Health recommends that people not panic when seeing such documents and should immediately report to the authorities or call the unit's hotline to report the incident.

Previously, on September 27, the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health received a complaint from a restaurant in Bao Loc city about a number of individuals claiming to be from the Lam Dong Provincial Food Safety and Hygiene Branch.

These people requested to provide records and documents related to the establishment of an inspection and supervision team for food production and trading establishments, along with two documents from the Lam Dong Department of Health.

Through inspection and verification, Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health confirmed that the above two documents are fake and have no legal value.

Regarding this incident, Lam Dong Department of Health requested the Provincial Food Safety Branch to coordinate with relevant agencies to promptly inform food production and business establishments in the province.

Thereby, be vigilant against subjects impersonating the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health to inspect and check and avoid cases of subjects using the above documents to take advantage and defraud.

Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health recommends that if food establishments, food production and trading establishments detect signs of suspected impersonation, they should immediately report to the nearest unit or police for timely handling.
