The above situation is currently happening at the Khanh Vinh Regional Medical Center (old Khanh Vinh district). Talking with Lao Dong, Dr. Tuan (name changed) - working at Khanh Vinh Regional Medical Center - confirmed that the unit is owed 2 months' salary.
According to Dr. Tuan, he has an income of about 15 million VND/month. However, up to now, the salary for September and October 2025 has not been paid.
We are very worried. No income makes the lives of the brothers difficult, while the work must still be maintained continuously to serve the people" - Dr. Tuan shared.
According to the reporter's investigation, the Khanh Vinh Regional Medical Center is located in the old Khanh Vinh district, a public health service unit under the Department of Health.
This unit implements the financial autonomy mechanism. The center includes 4 specialized departments, 9 faculties, 14 Health Stations and 2 General Examination Departments
Doctor Luan (name changed) - working at a commune health station - said that the medical team has repeatedly petitioned the leaders of the Khanh Vinh Regional Medical Center to soon have a solution, or at least commit to the payment time. However, there has been no clear response so far.
Talking over the phone with Lao Dong, Ms. Le Thi Bich Lien - Director of Khanh Vinh Regional Medical Center - said that she will ask for the opinion of Khanh Hoa Department of Health before answering the press about the reason for the delay in paying salaries.
On the side of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Health, the unit's leaders confirmed that there was a delay in paying salaries to the medical staff at the Khanh Vinh Regional Medical Center.
In the immediate future, the Department has a source to pay the September 2025 salary to medical staff and employees, and at the same time work with the Department of Finance to soon resolve the remaining salary.
The Department of Health added that it will report to the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to have a direction for final handling, ensuring the rights of the medical team and doctors, avoiding affecting the medical examination and treatment of people in mountainous areas.
