On November 12, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the Department of Industry and Trade of Thanh Hoa province said that after receiving information that many households (in Ha Son commune, Ha Trung district) were suffering from weak electricity, affecting their lives, the unit would conduct an inspection and request the electricity supplier to report the incident.
“We will also ask the electricity supplier to fix the weak electricity situation, ensuring power supply for people to use. Along with that, the Department will ask this unit to specifically report on the scale, volume and scope of electricity sales in the area” - representative of the Department of Industry and Trade of Thanh Hoa province informed.
According to the representative of the Department of Industry and Trade of Thanh Hoa province, the responsibility of the electricity selling unit is to invest, upgrade, and renovate to ensure the supply of electricity to the people.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, many households in Vinh An, Ngoc Son and Chi Phuc villages (Ha Son commune, Ha Trung district, Thanh Hoa province) indignantly reported that for many years, they have been living with weak electricity, which has greatly affected their daily lives.
According to households, during peak times, household appliances are almost unable to function, from rice cookers, refrigerators, televisions, washing machines... Many families do not even dare to buy air conditioners, because even if they did, they would not be able to use them.
Mr. Nguyen Van Ngo - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Son Commune (Ha Trung District, Thanh Hoa Province) - confirmed that the weak electricity situation in the area is true. There are 3 villages including Ngoc Son, Vinh An and Chi Phuc, the total number of affected households is about 200 households.
"Faced with the above situation, the commune has repeatedly sent documents to the electricity supplier, Thanh Hoa Electricity Business Management Joint Stock Company, requesting a solution, but to date, the problem has not been resolved," Mr. Ngo informed.
