Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc has just directed to remove difficulties and obstacles in the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway Project and the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project Phase 1.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested that these two expressway projects must be completed in 2025.
To achieve this goal, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the People's Committee of Dong Nai province to direct the Project Management Board and contractors to focus financial resources, mobilize more human resources, equipment, increase construction teams, consider applying technical solutions to shorten construction time, organize "3 shifts, 4 teams" to complete DATP1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project in 2025, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety of the project.
The People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province directed investors and contractors to speed up the construction progress of DATP 3, to soon complete the project according to the set plan.
The Ministry of Construction directs the Vietnam Expressway Corporation, Project Management Board 85 and contractors to increase human resources, construction machinery and equipment, financial resources, and speed up construction progress to complete 02 expressway projects to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety of works.
The Deputy Prime Minister also requested the Ministry of Construction and relevant localities to urgently implement the following tasks:
Regarding ground clearance, Dong Nai People's Committee directed relevant units to accelerate the handover progress (0.3km of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway Project; 0.62km and 114 households of the component project (DATP) 1, the cross -bridge range on DT.770B of DATP 2 belonging to the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project, ensuring the Prime Minister's Prime Minister.
At the same time, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province resolutely directs relevant units to speed up the relocation of 19 high-voltage power line locations and 50 low-voltage power line locations to ensure completion progress according to the direction of the Prime Minister.
Regarding the source of stone materials, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the People's Committee of Dong Nai province to direct relevant departments and branches to review and consider increasing capacity and adding more mines to increase the supply volume, meeting the demand for construction materials according to the plan (about 2,000m3/day for DATP 1 and about 3,500m3/day for DATP 2); directing enterprises to increase mining hours, including holidays, weekends and nights (cases 2, 3) to ensure continuous supply of materials to contractors.
Along with that, strictly manage the price of construction materials, prevent the situation of taking advantage of the scarcity of supply to raise prices, force prices to affect progress and implementation costs.
Along with the two expressway projects that must be completed in 2025, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh directed the implementation of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 Expressway Construction Investment Project to be completed by the end of 2028.
Official Letter stated: Considering the Report No. 3621/TTr-UBND dated May 22, 2025 of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on the pre-feasibility study report on investment project on construction of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road, the Prime Minister asked the Ministry of Construction, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and related agencies to focus on resources, accelerate the project deployment, complete and support in May 202 Complete the project at the end of 2028.
