On November 12, Tuy Hoa City Party Committee (Phu Yen) sent an official dispatch to grassroots Party organizations (TCCS CP) under the City Party Committee regarding the handling of cadres and Party members who commit administrative violations in the field of road traffic.
According to Tuy Hoa City Party Committee, recently, some cadres and party members violated road traffic order and safety; drove vehicles with alcohol concentration in their blood or breath; did not cooperate with authorities in handling violations, causing negative impacts on public opinion.
In order to improve the effectiveness of ensuring order and traffic safety and the awareness of strictly complying with the Party's regulations and the State's laws on traffic, especially for cadres and party members, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee requires Party organizations to review, review, evaluate and classify cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers of agencies, units and localities who violate regulations on alcohol concentration.
Strengthen leadership, direction and dissemination for cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers to strictly comply with Directive No. 23-CT/TW, dated May 25, 2023 of the Secretariat "on strengthening the Party's leadership in ensuring traffic order and safety in the new situation"; Directive No. 35/CT-TTg, dated September 17, 2024 of the Prime Minister "on handling cadres, civil servants, public employees and soldiers in the armed forces who violate regulations on driving vehicles with alcohol concentration in blood or breath; not cooperating with functional forces in handling violations".
Assign the Tuy Hoa City Police Party Committee to continue to lead and direct the city police to strengthen patrolling and control work, resolutely and strictly handle violations with the spirit of "no forbidden zones, no exceptions".
Tuy Hoa City Party Committee also sent a list of 27 cadres and party members who violated alcohol concentration while participating in traffic to the affiliated Party organizations, clearly stating their names, ages, addresses and places of Party activities.
On the same day, speaking with Lao Dong, a representative of the Traffic Police - Order Team of Tuy Hoa City Police said that the 27 cadres and party members who violated alcohol concentration mentioned above were violations in the statistical list until the end of October 2024. From the beginning of November until now, there are still many other violations.
