Currently, Aletra is in a joint venture with Livan (China) to sell cars under the Aletra name. The company's first product is called L8 EV, developed based on Chinese car platforms Geely Jiaji and Livan Maple 80V.
"The car will be assembled at PT Handal Motors Indonesia's facility in Cikampek. We have also made many adjustments to make the car more suitable for Indonesian users," said Andre Jodjana, CEO of Aletra.
According to the company, the adjustments include: increasing the size to create more interior space, adding seats with the ability to carry 7 people, integrating a 12.4-inch LED screen, 72-color interior lighting and wireless charging. All of these changes are aimed at increasing comfort and surpassing other electric MPV models in the same segment.
The interior of the L8 EV uses leather upholstery, dark wood grain dashboard, electric front seats, separate seats in the second row and a variably adjustable steering wheel.
Physical buttons are applied to the air conditioning system, driving mode and rearview mirror settings, bringing convenience to users. In addition, the car is also equipped with a PM2.5 air filtration system, 360-degree camera, cruise control and a modern entertainment system that connects Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly.
According to the company's announcement, the Aletra L8 EV has a top speed of 160 km/h and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 11 seconds. The company also offers 2 battery options with ranges of 415 km and 540 km respectively.
In the Indonesian market, the Aletra L8 EV model has a starting price of 415 million rupiah (about 660 million VND) for the 415 km version and 448 million rupiah (about 714 million VND) for the 540 km version.
