Gia Lai - A driver was fined more than 67 million VND for running at a speed exceeding 14 times in 3 months and was given special education.

On July 16, information from the Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Province Police said that the unit had fined Mr. N.Q.D (born in 1982, residing in Tuy Phuoc Bac Commune) for administrative violations of traffic safety and order with a total amount of 67.7 million VND.

Along with the fine, the leaders of the Traffic Police Department directly educated Mr. D, analyzed the danger of the violation, and at the same time propagated and reminded Mr. D to strictly comply with regulations when participating in traffic in the coming time.

Previously, through extracting data from the traffic surveillance camera system, the Traffic Police Department discovered that from March to the end of May 2025, cars with license plate 77C-042.84 had exceeded the prescribed speed limit 14 times, all violations occurred on National Highway 19, through Tuy Phuoc Commune.

Through exploiting the data system, the traffic police determined that the above car was the property of a company headquartered on Mai Xuan Thuong Street (Quy Nhon Ward). However, this vehicle was resold to a local resident to be used as a means of transporting goods. Continuing to clarify, the Traffic Police Department identified Mr. D as the person who directly controlled the vehicle in the 14 speeding violations mentioned above.

After being educated, Mr. D complied with the fine at Transaction Office No. 8 - State Treasury Region XIII.
