Previously, Thanh Hoa police also fined many cars and motorbikes for violating red light violations. From July 1, 2025 to July 10, 2025. Accordingly, owners of the following cars were fined for running a red light in Thanh Hoa:

The police note that the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulating administrative sanctions for violations of road traffic safety and order; deduction of points, restoration of driving license points take effect from January 1, 2025.
Accordingly, some violations of road traffic safety order have increased fines compared to before, such as drivers running red lights being fined 18-20 million VND (old level was 4-6 million VND).
Motorcyclists who run red lights will be fined 4-6 million VND (the old fine was 800,000 VND to 1 million VND).
In order to effectively implement the newly issued laws, the traffic police forces of localities are actively implementing many synchronous measures, with the motto of focusing on both propaganda and strict handling.
