On the evening of September 2, the Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 (C08) of the Ministry of Public Security is handling a series of collisions between many cars on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway, passing through Dong Nai province.
According to initial information, the collision occurred at around 6:30 p.m. on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway when the vehicles had just arrived in Dong Nai province.
At the scene, there were about 9 cars on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway, many of which were severely damaged.
The highway patrol force under the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway management unit is supporting the road closure to handle the collision.
Previously, since the afternoon of September 2, thousands of vehicles have been congested in Ho Chi Minh City, causing a long traffic jam on the Dau Giay - Phan Thiet and Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressways.
At intersections on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway such as: Ring Road 3, intersection of Road 319, National Highway 51, and Dau Giay Expressway, vehicles are continuously diverted, vehicles are not allowed to get on the expressway, forcing them to go on other routes such as National Highway 1, National Highway 51. However, these national highways also experienced prolonged congestion.
