Hanoi officially operates electric bus route No. 34

Hanoi - Hanoi Electric Vehicle Joint Stock Company has officially put into operation the electric bus route No. 34 (My Dinh - Gia Lam Bus Station) since April 18.

Following the direction of the City Party Committee and People's Committee of Hanoi on the implementation of the "Project on developing public transport systems by buses using electricity and green energy", on April 18, Hanoi Electric Car Joint Stock Company officially put into operation the electric bus route No. 34 (My Lam bus station - Gia Lam). This is one of the specific steps to realize the goal of transforming green in the field of urban transport.

At the opening ceremony of bus route No. 34, Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy - Party Secretary of Hanoi Electric Vehicle Joint Stock Company said that in order to meet the requirements of the roadmap for converting public transport vehicles to clean energy, the company has proactively implemented investment, prepared infrastructure and vehicles, and ensured sufficient technical conditions to put 17 electric buses into operation on route No. 34.

The operation of this electric bus route not only improves the quality of public passenger transport services but also contributes to realizing the goal of sustainable urban development, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and protecting the environment.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and efforts of Hanoi Electric Car Joint Stock Company in the project implementation process, and affirmed the pioneering role of enterprises in transforming urban transport vehicles in the direction of sustainable development. The city leaders requested the departments and agencies to urgently complete the mechanisms and policies to support businesses in the process of investment and change of vehicles; At the same time, promoting investment in building technical infrastructure systems, synchronous charging stations for operation of clean energy use.

In addition, the development and promulgation of a unit price framework and norms for small and medium-sized electric buses needs to be accelerated, as a legal and financial basis for expanding the scale of investment in green energy vehicles in the coming time.

The opening ceremony of the No. 34 electric bus route is not only meaningful in terms of technology and operation, but also a clear demonstration of the political determination and sustainable transport development strategy of Hanoi City. This event clearly demonstrates the synchronous orientation between the city's policies and guidelines and specific actions of businesses, contributing to building the capital Hanoi to develop in a civilized, modern, green, clean and beautiful direction.

Electric bus route No. 34 (My Dinh Bus Station - Gia Lam Bus Station) uses 17 Vinfast Green Bus vehicles with a capacity of 68 passengers, a modern standard vehicle with a low floor, creating convenience for passengers, including the ability to side the vehicle for wheelchairs for people with disabilities to easily access. The Vinfast Green Bus electric bus line has been operating stably in many cities across the country and is loved and chosen by domestic and foreign customers.

Departure: My Dinh - Pham Hung Bus Station - Turning around at the opening point (between pillars T296-T297 of the elevated Ring Road 3) - Pham Hung - Xuan Thuy - Cau Giay - Cau Giay Bus transit point (in front of the fence of the University of Transport) - Kim Ma - Lieu Giai - Kim Ma - Nguyen Thai Hoc - Phan Boi Chau - Hai Ba Trung - Phan Chu Trinh - Ly Thai To - Ngo Quyen - Hang Voi - Hang Tre - Hang Muoi (top street) - Turning around in front of Hang Khoai - Tran Nhat Duat street (bottom street) - Cau Chuong Duong - Nguyen Van Cu - Nguyen Son - Ngoc Ngoc Khoi - Gia Lam Gia Gia Gia.
