The Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Dak Lak Provincial Police said that from January 1 to June 30, the unit successfully organized 31 driving tests and issued driving licenses to 11,703 students.
Specifically, out of the total number of students participating in the competition, there are 5,894 cars and 5,809 motorbike contestants.
In addition to the work of testing and issuing new driving licenses, the Traffic Police Department and the Commune and Ward Police in the province have also received and processed nearly 20,000 applications for issuing, exchanging and reissuing driving licenses of all kinds to citizens.
The whole Dak Lak province has 18 training facilities for car and motorbike drivers, including 13 facilities in the old Dak Lak area and 5 facilities from Phu Yen province (before the merger).
With this number of training institutions, Dak Lak is meeting the increasing demand for driving licenses in recent years.
Previously, from March 1, the testing and issuance and exchange of driving licenses were transferred from the Ministry of Transport (now the Ministry of Construction) to the Ministry of Public Security.
