Lai Chau Police said that, implementing Circular No. 12/2025/TT-BCA dated February 28, 2025 of the Minister of Public Security regulating the testing and granting of driving licenses; granting and using international driving licenses and the direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Traffic Police Department, and the Traffic Police Department of Lai Chau Provincial Police announced the schedule to adjust and supplement the organization of the motor vehicle driving test in July 2025 as follows:
Location and time of testing:
Location: Branch of Lao Cai Transport Joint Stock Company in Lai Chau province (located in Lai Chau).
Testing time: From July 24 to 25, 2025: Organize testing for 700 A1 exam documents. (The 600-question questionnaire issued by C08 - Ministry of Public Security).
Location: Group 8, Bat Xat Commune, Lao Cai Province.
Testing time: From 28 to 11:30 on July 29, 2025: Organize testing for 210 Class B car records (including automatic and mechanical numbers). (The 600-question questionnaire issued by the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Construction).
From 1:30 p.m. on July 29, 2025 to July 31, 2025: Organize testing for 390 Class B car records (including automatic numbers and mechanical numbers). (The 600-question questionnaire issued by C08 - Ministry of Public Security).
The police note:
General working hours: morning: From 7:30 to 11:00; afternoon: From 13:30 to 17:00.
For candidates who are trained to test for B2 driving licenses (old) according to the Road Traffic Law 2008, and need to take the exam to become a C1 driver, they must submit a test application to the Training Center, a C1 health certificate, and will take the exam in the next exam (when the testing grounds are qualified to allow the test for C1 drivers). The Traffic Police Department will announce the exam schedule later.
