McLaren Elva is a mid-size convertible sports car, limited edition by McLaren Automotive. This is also the 5th car in the McLaren Ultimate Series, after legends such as the F1, P1, Senna and Speedtail.
Inspired by the convertible racing cars developed by Bruce McLaren in the 1960s, the Elva does not have windshields, windows or roofs.

The name " Elva" comes from the French, reminiscent of the first light convertible racing cars designed by Bruce McLaren. The M1A, M1B and M1C, manufactured from 1964 to 1967, are pioneering models. McLaren Elva production is limited to 149 units, a significant decrease compared to the initial estimate of 399 units, to increase the monopoly of this car line.
McLaren Elva was officially announced for the first time in 2019, with a new version including windbreakers for customers who need to use and comply with legal requirements in some countries, especially the US. The delivery of the car to customers began at the end of 2021, after being personalized by McLaren Special Operations.
Pham Tran Nhat Minh's McLaren Elva (aka Minh "plastic") returned to Vietnam in 2023, with a total cost of nearly 200 billion VND. However, it was not until February 2025 that the car completed the registration procedures and received the license plate. In particular, this license plate was successfully auctioned.
