On August 1, the Traffic Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police said that on July 31, the Traffic Police force of the whole province deployed 65 simultaneous patrols and controls, with the participation of nearly 300 officers and soldiers.
As a result, the authorities stopped checking 1,212 vehicles and recorded 104 cases of administrative violations in the field of traffic safety and order. The total estimated fine is about 236 million VND. In addition, the police have temporarily detained 16 vehicles, revoked 21 cases of driving licenses and deducted driving license points according to regulations.
According to the Traffic Police Department, the patrol was carried out to strengthen the effectiveness of State management of traffic, strictly handle violations such as: driving a vehicle without valid documents, violating speed, using alcohol while driving, not wearing a helmet or carrying more people than the prescribed number.
In the coming time, the authorities will continue to maintain continuous patrols on key routes to ensure the safety of people.
