Thanh Hoa Police have just announced the results of detecting vehicles violating traffic safety order through the security, order and traffic safety surveillance camera system (from October 21, 2025 to October 31, 2025). Among these are the following car owners who violated the red light violation:






The Traffic Police Department also said that from 12:00 on December 3, 2025 to 12:00 on December 4, 2025, through extracting data from the A.I camera piloted for installation in Hanoi's inner city (the intersection of Pham Van Bach - Hoang Quan Chi streets), it automatically detected: 39 cases of non-compliance with traffic light signals - running red lights. These cases have been transferred to Hanoi City Police and functional units to carry out procedures for handling violations.
People should note that the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulating administrative sanctions for violations of road traffic safety and order; deduction of points, restoration of driving license points take effect from January 1, 2025.
Accordingly, some violations of road traffic safety order have increased fines compared to before, such as drivers running red lights being fined 18-20 million VND (old level was 4-6 million VND).
In order to effectively implement the newly issued laws, the traffic police forces of localities are actively implementing many synchronous measures, with the motto of focusing on both propaganda and strict handling.
The main goal of sharply increasing the fine according to Decree 168/2024/ND-CP is to raise awareness of compliance with traffic laws, thereby contributing to reducing accidents, congestion...
The police requested violators to go to the police headquarters where the fine was detected or to the police station where they resided to resolve the violation according to regulations.
