On June 22, Lam Dong Department of Construction sent a document to the Provincial People's Committee on policies to support travel, work and housing for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers from the Regional People's Procuracy, the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department, and along with units from Dak Nong and Binh Thuan to Lam Dong.
Currently, the Department of Finance is advising the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the People's Council a Resolution on support policies in the form of travel, accommodation rental and living expenses for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.
Therefore, the Department of Construction proposed that the People's Committee of Lam Dong province consider agreeing on supporting travel costs for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the above vertical units such as: People's Court, Judgment Enforcement, Procuracy, Statistics, Tax... in the above form to ensure consistency.
In case the agency or unit needs to arrange vehicles for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to travel by shared car, the agency or unit will proactively contract to rent a car to pick up and drop off using a fixed-rate support source for travel costs.
Agencies and units that need vehicle rental contracts can contact the Department of Construction for support in connecting with transport business units. According to a survey, the fixed route bus fare is: 180,000 VND/ticket/person.
The rental price of a 29-seat vehicle under a contract from Da Lat to Dak Nong and Binh Thuan is about: 5,000,000 VND/trip; the rental price of a 45-seat vehicle under a contract from Da Lat to Dak Nong and Binh Thuan is about: 7,500,000 VND/trip.
Currently, the Department of Finance is chairing a draft Resolution on mechanisms and policies to support the development of public passenger transport by bus for the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council.
After the Provincial People's Council approves the above resolution, the Department of Construction will organize bidding for the operation of the Da Lat - Phan Thiet, Da Lat - Dak Nong bus routes and a number of other routes to facilitate people and officials and civil servants' travel.
