Supporting children of orphaned and difficult workers
The Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) said that the unit has just coordinated with Loi Chau Trading and Investment Co., Ltd. to organize a program to award money to support and sponsor children of orphaned workers in difficult circumstances in the province.
At the program, the working delegation presented symbolic support with a total budget of 96 million VND to sponsor 16 orphaned children in difficult circumstances from 9 working-class families. The support level is 500,000 VND/child/month, with a support period of 1 year.
Directly giving gifts to some cases, Mr. Nguyen The Hoan - Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation did not hide his emotion when seeing young children who had suffered great losses, losing their fathers or mothers, and soon becoming orphans.
Ms. Trinh Thi Bich (resident of Truong Phu residential group, Vung Ang ward, Ha Tinh province), a worker at MCC Vietnam Company, emotionally said: "I would like to thank the concern and help of the Ha Tinh Trade Union organization and Loi Chau Company for sharing and sponsoring my 2 children so that they have more motivation to study and strive to rise up, so that my family can overcome difficulties.
Ms. Tran Thi Hien (residing in Song Tri ward, Ha Tinh province, a union member of MCC Vietnam Company) whose husband used to work as a worker at Hung Nghiep Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Co., Ltd. died in a traffic accident when her child Tran Anh Thi was only 7 months old.
Being connected by the Ha Tinh Trade Union, Loi Chau Trading and Investment Co., Ltd. received sponsorship to support her child, Ms. Hien emotionally sent sincere thanks to the Trade Union organization and the business.
For Ms. Hien, this is practical material support and a great source of spiritual encouragement to add strength for her and her children to strive to overcome difficulties.
Actively supporting the construction of trade union shelters
On the occasion of Workers' Month 2026, from the Ha Tinh Trade Union Social Fund, the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation has provided support of 215 million VND to build and repair 6 "Trade Union Shelter" houses for union members in difficult circumstances who do not have housing or have degraded or unsecure housing.
As one of the union members supported with 40 million VND to build a Trade Union Warm House, Mr. Bui Anh Thang - a worker of the Trade Union of Hoi Dong Trading Co., Ltd. shared: "I am very touched and grateful to the Ha Tinh Trade Union organization for their concern and support, helping my family have more motivation to borrow money to build a new house, ensure family life and settle down.
Mr. Thang's family situation is very difficult, his wife does not have a stable job, the family raises 3 young children to study, for more than 10 years the family has had to rent a very cramped room, inconvenient in daily life.
According to the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation, from the beginning of 2026 to now, the Ha Tinh Trade Union Social Fund has supported the construction and repair of 17 "Trade Union Shelter" houses with a total amount of 535 million VND.
Mr. Nguyen The Hoan - Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation shared that identifying caring for the interests of union members, especially those in difficult circumstances, is one of the key activities of the Ha Tinh Trade Union organization. Therefore, in the past time, Ha Tinh Trade Union levels have allocated resources from the Trade Union Fund and actively connected and called for socialized resources to care for and give gifts to many union members and workers.
