Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported the incident of two trucks colliding on the highway, killing two people.
Information from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH), Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that at around 5:05 a.m. on April 23, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department received a report of an accident between two trucks (at Km332+50, the expressway from Hanoi to Nghe An - in Dong Tien commune, Trieu Son district), causing 2 victims to die and get stuck in the cabin.
Upon receiving the information, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1 mobilized a rescue vehicle and 6 officers and soldiers to be present at the scene to organize the rescue and bring the victims out.
At the scene, the front of the truck was deformed, the victim was trapped deep inside the cabin. Shortly thereafter, the rescue force used the cutting equipment, breaking the door of the cabin and took the bodies of the two victims out.
