20-35 million VND: Diverse features, serving many purposes
In the mid-range price range, users have more options for design, engine and features. Vehicles in this segment often have a larger operating range, from 100 to 200 km, some support detachable battery charging, suitable for both personal travel and service purposes.
VinFast has models such as Evo200 and Feliz, both with a range of over 150 km and designed towards stability and simplicity.
Honda ICON e: is a product produced by a domestic Japanese joint venture, with an operating range of about 70 km and uses a battery rental model instead of shared storage.
Yadea Velax stands out with its similar design to a gasoline scooter, integrating many features such as smart vehicle lock, GPS positioning, remote control and synchronization with the phone.
Notably, the Selex Camel model aims to be used in delivery services, has the ability to carry heavy loads, integrate cargo bins or cargo frames and support quick battery exchange at stations.
35-50 million VND: Modern design, high efficiency
This segment focuses on models with higher performance, modern design and integration of many technologies. The vehicle can reach a speed of 78 to 100 km/h, with a range of 160 to nearly 300 km per charge, depending on the model.
VinFast has models such as Klara and Vento, which stand out for their longer range and higher speed.
Another option is the Datbike quantum, a domestic electric vehicle with a powerful design, using a mid-range engine and a chain reaction system, creating a stable driving feeling. The vehicle is also equipped with many features such as hill start assist, automatic throttle and reverse mode.
Yamaha has a neos model that can be equipped with two batteries to expand the range of operations, while supporting detachable battery charging, suitable for the flexible needs of urban users.
Although Honda does not retail any models in this group, it offers a CUV e:, rental service for users who want to experience high-performance electric cars without having to completely own them.
High-capacity electric vehicles: Special segment with few options
High-capacity electric motorbikes in Vietnam are not yet widely popular, mainly aimed at users who love technology, high performance or unique experiences.
A notable representative is the BMW CE4 model, imported from Europe, with a maximum speed of 120 km/h and the ability to accelerate quickly in a few seconds. The car's design is in the style of a maxi-scooter, iconic and clearly different from the rest of the market. Currently, this segment still does not have domestic competitors.
