Limo Green is VinFast's first MPV model since its establishment in 2017. Limo Green is a pure electric, 7-seat car and is initially distributed via GSM, the company that operates SM Green electric taxi.
VinFast announced the selling price of Limo Green at 749 million VND, including batteries.
Limo Green has dimensions of length x width x height of 4,740 x 1,872 x 1,728 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm.
With these parameters, VinFast products are larger than MPV models in the same segment such as Mitsubishi Xpander, Toyota Veloz and are on par with competitors such as GAC M6 Pro, Hyundai Custin or MG G50 that are about to launch.
According to the manufacturer, VinFast Limo Green is equipped with a 201 horsepower motor, 280 Nm of torque, front-wheel drive.
Recently, the market for compact and mid-size MPVs has been very vibrant in Vietnam. In 2024 alone, the small group sold 46,667 vehicles, only behind the B-size CUV (50,025 vehicles).
According to data from the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), the car model leading sales in this segment is Xpander with nearly 20,000 cars.
The mid-size MPV group sold 9,135 vehicles with the front of the train being Innova Cross (6,034 vehicles).
Combined with the two groups of small and medium-sized enterprises, sales reached 55,802 units, accounting for about 13.7% of the total market share of in-vehicle motor vehicles sold in Vietnam in 2024.
The appearance of Limo Green will help the market of this car line become more vibrant. Users have many suitable options.
