On the afternoon of February 12, the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on the reorganization of the apparatus of agencies, party organizations under the Provincial Party Committee and personnel work. Accordingly, the decision was made to merge the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
Along with this decision are decisions on assignment, transfer and appointment of cadres after the merger. Ms. Lo Thi Minh Phuong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department holds the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
5 deputy heads of the committee, including: Ms. Vang Thi Binh - President of the Provincial Farmers' Association; Mr. Pham Ngoc Han - Editor-in-Chief of Dien Bien Phu Newspaper; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thuan - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and Mr. Ngon Ngoc Khue, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.
At the conference, the Organizing Committee of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee also announced the decision to end the activities of the Party delegations, the Provincial Executive Committee, the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises. The decision to establish the Party Committees of Party agencies and the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee directly under the Provincial Party Executive Committee.
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee Tran Quoc Cuong emphasized that the implementation of the Central Government's policy on innovation and streamlining the organizational apparatus aims to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the political system.
The Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee also requested that newly established units strengthen solidarity, unity, promote democracy, and mobilize collective intelligence to lead and direct the comprehensive implementation of political tasks.
