This is a classic sports car model with high collectible value, currently only counted on the fingers in Vietnam.
The Porsche 356 is the first sports car produced by the German car company, marking the beginning of the glorious history of the Porsche brand. This model has a compact design, light weight, rear-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive and has two types of hardtop coupe and convertible. Continuous technical improvements have been applied by Porsche during the production period, helping the car model become an icon on races as well as in the sports car world.
The 356 series began production in 1948 in Gmund ( Austria), with the first 50 units born here. In 1950, the production line was transferred to the Zuffenhausen factory (Germany) and continued to be maintained until April 1965, before the successor, the Porsche 911 officially launched in September 19644.
Of the total of about 76,000 units produced, only half have survived to this day. At the time of 1948, the selling price of 356 coupe was 3,750 USD (equivalent to about 49,100 USD in 2024), while the convertible version cost 4,250 USD (equivalent to 55,600 USD).

The Porsche 356A Speedster uses a 4-cylinder, air-cooled engine, developed based on the Volkswagen Beetle engine but has been more refined. This engine block produces a capacity of 50 to 130 horsepower, depending on the capacity of 1,290 - 1,588 cc, providing flexible operation and the typical driving feeling of classic Porsche models.
