This is considered one of the first Porsche 911 models in Vietnam to be personalized by the owner in this direction, even before the genuine Porsche 911 Dakar arrived.
Compared to the original design, the 911 Carrera 997 has been changed in many exterior details. The front of the car stands out with a large impact bar attached, creating a strong and unique feeling. The double-spoke multi-spoke wheels are painted black in contrast to the silver paint color of the body, contributing to emphasizing the sporty and hole style. These upgrades help the car that is familiar with the road become more suitable for off-road orientation.
The Porsche 911 Carrera 997 is equipped with a 3.6-liter Flat-6 engine, producing 321 horsepower and using rear-wheel drive. This is a replacement for the 996 series, launched in 2004 for the 2005. Compared to the previous generation, the 997 has a design affected by 993, especially in the double-wlled headlights cluster after a period of using the drop- drop-shaped model.
The interior of the 997 has also been redesigned, inheriting the familiar lines of the previous 911 and bringing modernity. Although it only shares less than a third of its parts with the 996, this model still maintains the same technical foundation, while improving the drag coefficient to 0.28.
The appearance of the Porsche 911 Carrera 997 off-road shows that the trend of personalizing supercars is increasingly popular in Vietnam, as many car owners seek their own style instead of just keeping the standard design.
