The average monthly income of workers is about 27 - 35 million VND (for workers working in Japan and Korea), after deducting expenses, each month workers send their families from 20 - 25 million VND.
Also at this Conference, many delegates said that it is necessary to strengthen the dissemination of the province's support policies to workers when working under contracts abroad; strengthen state management of enterprises from the recruitment stage to labor management abroad; raise awareness of workers, select high-quality workers with health and qualifications to work abroad under contracts.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Van Thang suggested that the Provincial People's Committee proactively study, survey, and study to expand the foreign labor market, aiming at the high-income labor market; pay attention to implementing the appraisal and selection of orders in accordance with the situation and conditions of Dong Thap workers; regularly monitor and manage enterprises operating labor sending services, comply with legal regulations, prevent fraud against workers...
Mr. Thang suggested that all levels, sectors and localities continue to promote the dissemination of the province's support policies and guidelines on full and accurate mass media; promote the socialization of vocational training; strengthen state management of activities of sending workers to work abroad in the province.
