On April 10, information from the Nghe An Provincial Department of Health said that, based on the inspection results at Le Loi General Clinic (No. 99 Le Loi Street, Le Loi Ward, Vinh City, under Thai Duong Investment and Service Company Limited), this facility had violated the regulations, including: not reporting changes to practitioners according to regulations, and advertising special medical examination and treatment services (physophysical weakness treatment) without having the content confirmed by the competent authority.
On December 20, 2024, Nghe An Department of Health issued a Decision to inspect this facility, followed by a decision to extend the inspection on February 18, 2025.
After discovering the violation, the Chief Inspector of the Department of Health signed a decision to impose an administrative fine of VND 60 million, and at the same time requested the removal of the advertising violation on the website of this facility.
The Director of Nghe An Department of Health has also directed the Department of Medical and Pharmaceutical Practice Management to coordinate with specialized departments to organize comprehensive post-inspections for medical examination and treatment at this facility. In case of detecting inadequacies, the Department will consider revoking the operating license according to the provisions of law.
Recently, Nghe An Department of Health has increased inspection and supervision of private medical facilities to tighten management, ensure the rights of patients and comply with legal regulations in the field of medical examination and treatment.
