Calling for investment in 3 large urban areas
On May 28, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province said that there are 10 projects in Vung Tau city that the province is calling for investment. Of which, there are up to 3 large urban area projects being called for investment in many forms.
These are the Go gas urban area project with an area of 1,389 hectares; the Ben Dinh Islet urban area with an area of 110 hectares is planned to build a modern new urban area with mixed functions.
In which, including housing, offices, commercial services... are synchronized with technical infrastructure systems and social infrastructure. Thereby focusing on developing high-quality commercial, public service, conference - seminar (MICE), sea resort, entertainment, and recreation products. Contributing to the development of the tourism urban area of Vung Tau City and its vicinity to become a high-quality, international-class tourism urban area.
These projects are being called for investment in the form of auctioning land use rights - bidding to select investors.
Or the Bac Phuoc Thang eco-tourism urban area, with a total area of over 420 hectares, exploited based on the principle of nature conservation, reasonable use of resources and indigenous culture to serve the needs of tourists for sightseeing, relaxation, learning about the natural environment and culture. This project is called for in the form of selecting investors - receiving land use rights transfer.
Invest in seaports, high-class tourism areas and utility services
In addition, Vung Tau City is also calling for investment in the project "Vung Tau International Passenger Port", with a total area of about 54.3 hectares (including a 6-hectare terminal, a 13.9-hectare wharf and a 34.4-hectare water surface area).
And the "Long Son General Port" project has a total area of over 184 hectares, capable of receiving ships of up to 100,000 tons, taking on the role of importing and exporting goods for the oil and gas industrial park in Long Son and neighboring areas. Both of these projects are being called for in the form of investor selection.
Or the Long Son LNG Thermal Power Plant project, with a total area of 42.6 hectares in Long Son commune, is being called for investment in the form of bidding to select investors. The project has a capacity of about 1,500 MW, aiming to provide power for the Southern region's power system and the national power system, contributing to ensuring energy security.
At the same time, there are up to 3 commercial service - tourism projects called for investment in Vung Tau City such as: Commercial center combined with high-class tourism services of 2.8 hectares, 40 - 50 floors high (old tourist market, Thang Tam ward); High-quality tourism, entertainment and resort service area in Mui Nghinh Phong with a scale of about 100 hectares; 30-storey luxury hotel, combined with tourism and shopping services of 1.4 hectares.
The "general Hospital" project of more than 4 hectares in Ward 11, Vung Tau City is being called for investment in the form of auctioning land use rights; to meet the requirements of specialized medical examination and treatment, disease prevention and control, creating conditions for all people in the province to access high-quality medical services at reasonable costs.
