On November 19, the People's Committee of Long Thanh district announced that it had organized a resettlement lottery for 220 households in Long Phuoc, Phuoc Binh, Tan Hiep and Phuoc Thai communes in the component project 2 - Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.

Households were drawn for resettlement with areas ranging from 80m2 to 125m2, in Long Phuoc resettlement area.

The 34-hectare Long Phuoc resettlement area in Long Phuoc commune serves people who gave up their land for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project, with a total investment of nearly VND365 billion. This resettlement area will be built with a maximum of 4 floors with 1,048 lots to accommodate 4,000 - 4,500 people.

Previously, Long Thanh District People's Committee also organized a lottery to resettle households in component project 1, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project to Long Duc resettlement area.

Long Duc resettlement area has an area of ​​nearly 30 hectares, meeting the housing needs of nearly 3,400 people, equivalent to about 843 households, with a total investment of about 300 billion VND.

Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project Phase 1, the section across Long Thanh district is about 28km, with a total reclaimed area of ​​nearly 230 hectares.

Up to now, the People's Committees of communes and towns have considered resettlement for 1,569 applications, of which 786 applications are eligible for resettlement.

Long Thanh District Compensation Council organized a lottery to resettle 738 households to Long Duc resettlement area and Long Phuoc resettlement area.
