On February 15, information from the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province said that the unit had just signed a decision to cancel a number of decisions related to 2 investment projects using land in Thanh Hoa city.

Accordingly, decisions No. 2320 (June 7, 2024) of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province on accepting the investment policy for the Residential Area project in Nam Ngan ward, Thanh Hoa city; Decision No. 2792 (July 4, 2024) of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province on approving the investment policy for the residential area project in village 9, Quang Tam ward, Thanh Hoa city.
Repeat Decision No. 3036 (July 19, 2024) of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee on approving preliminary requirements on capacity and experience of investors registering to implement investment projects using land of projects including: Residential area, resettlement in Nam Ngan ward, Thanh Hoa city; Residential area of village 9, Quang Tam ward, Thanh Hoa city.
The decision also clearly states that investors are selected to implement investment projects using land for Residential Area of Village 9, Quang Tam Ward, Thanh Hoa City and Residential Area and Resettlement Project of Nam Ngan Ward, Thanh Hoa City.
The reason is that the above projects are not subject to transition according to the provisions of Article 73 of Decree No. 115/2024/ND-CP dated September 16, 2024 of the Government detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Bidding on selecting investors to implement investment projects using land; not qualified to continue implementing the next steps in the procedures for land allocation and land lease according to regulations.
Currently, the Department of Planning and Investment of Thanh Hoa and related units are implementing the steps according to regulations after having the above decisions.
It is known that previously, the Resettlement Area project in Nam Ngan ward, Thanh Hoa city, had an area of about 11.3 hectares and a population of about 2,876 people. Including 687 houses, of which 377 commercial houses were built roughly and the facade was completed; 310 social housing houses were completed; 2 plots of resettlement land. The project has a total investment of about 1,127 billion VND, of which the cost of compensation and resettlement support is nearly 43 billion VND.
The Residential Area of Village 9, Quang Tam Ward, Thanh Hoa City project has a land use scale of about 57,500m2, the project investment capital is about 432 billion VND. The project invests in the construction of the rough part and completes the frontage of 97 townhouses, completing the construction of a social housing project with a land area of over 5,198m2. The project's population is expected to be about 1,600 people.
