Ho Chi Minh City stipulates that rental rooms must ensure a minimum of 4 m2 per person
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just approved a project to manage and support individual houses for rent in the city.
The project stipulates 3 minimum criteria for fire prevention and fighting safety (PCCC) for this type of housing.
The notable criterion is that each room must ensure a minimum floor area of 4 m2 for each person.

According to the project, the minimum criteria for floor area used to control and limit the number of people in each housing project, ensuring safety for people living in this area.
However, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee emphasized that the new regulation does not aim to apply extreme measures such as dismantling or closing rented rooms, to avoid affecting and disrupting people's lives. See more...
Traditional retail space is fiercely competited
The traditional retail space market is still struggling to recover even though rental prices have decreased compared to the previous period.
Surveying around the central area of District 1, District 3 (HCMC), places that used to want to think about renting premises for business with only big brands are now flooded with signs advertising "renting premises".

Traveling through the "fashion street" of Nguyen Trai, it is easy to see many empty premises interspersed with scattered signs for rent. In addition to the fashion business premises, there is also the F&B business premises (cuisine, restaurant, food and beverage business services) in the waiting situation because they have been empty for more than a year...
Meanwhile, on the most prime streets of Ho Chi Minh City such as Dong Khoi, Nguyen Hue... many F&B business premises are still in a state of tangled rental lists, but have been left vacant in recent times. See more...
