The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has just responded to the people about which agency has the authority to correct the red book when detecting errors?

On the Government Portal, Ms. L.T.H in Ninh Binh reported that in 2018, her family was granted a red book after exchanging plots of land. Previously, Ms. H's household was allocated land and granted a red book in 1997.

Up to now, Ms. H has discovered that there is incorrect information on the red book issued after the filling. Ms. H asked, which agency would you like to do the procedure for correcting the red book? Who signed the confirmation on your red book to correct that error?

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment responds to this issue as follows:

Pursuant to the provisions of Point a, Clause 1, Article 192, Clause 1, Article 136 of the Land Law, Point a, Clause 1 and Point b, Clause 7, Article 219, Point h, Clause 1, Article 5 of Decree No. 151/2025/ND-CP dated June 12, 2025 of the Government regulating the determination of the authority of local authorities at 02 levels, decentralization, and delegation in the field of land, in the case of the Certificate issued (after consolidation, exchange of plots) to households and individuals with errors, the agency to correct the issued Certificate is the People's Committee at the commune level.
