Accordingly, the Ward People's Committee has approved a compensation and support plan for 53 households and individuals whose agricultural land was recovered to implement the Project to invest in construction and business of infrastructure of Nomura Industrial Park - Hai Phong (phase 2), with a total amount of more than 65.6 billion VND.
During the day, representatives of local authorities and functional agencies carried out public and transparent payment procedures in accordance with the law. The 7th payment phase aims to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of households and individuals whose land is recovered according to current regimes and policies; ensure the handover of clean land to implement the Nomura - Hai Phong industrial park infrastructure construction and business management project (phase 2) in the ward. At the same time, raise awareness and responsibility of organizations, households and individuals in complying with the provisions of law on land, compensation, support, and resettlement when the state recovers land.
The Nomura - Hai Phong Industrial Park infrastructure construction and business investment project (phase 2) is one of the key projects of the city, playing an important role in attracting investment, developing industrial infrastructure and creating jobs for local workers. Most of the present households agreed with the compensation plan and actively coordinated with local authorities in site clearance and accelerating project progress.
