On October 9, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province decided to approve the compensation, support and resettlement plan for the Ma Da bridge project to have land handed over to the Dong Nai Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board to implement the construction of Ma Da bridge. This is a project to facilitate traffic connection between the old Dong Nai province and the old Binh Phuoc province, creating a smooth traffic system in Dong Nai province (after the merger), serving the travel and transportation needs of the people.
At the same time, the project will form an inter-regional traffic axis connecting the Central Highlands provinces to Long Thanh airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai deep-water port, promoting the development of inter-provincial logistics infrastructure and industrial parks to promote local socio-economic development.
The project has a land area to be reclaimed of about 1.83 hectares in Tri An and Tan Loi communes, Dong Nai province.
Previously, on August 19, the Ma Da bridge construction investment project was broken ground.
The Ma Da bridge project has a starting point connecting to DT 753 route in the old Binh Phuoc district, now Tan Loi commune, Dong Nai province; the end point is located on the trail in Dong Nai Nature - Cultural Reserve, in Tri An commune, Dong Nai province.
Ma Da Bridge is over 580m long, with 4 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for non-motor vehicles, designed speed of 80km/h. The approach roads at both ends of the bridge have the scale corresponding to the bridge with the median strip and the sidewalks on both sides of the road. The project has a total investment of more than 130 billion VND, and will break ground in August 2025.
Ma Da Bridge is a project of special importance in connecting traffic, accelerating the development of inter-provincial logistics infrastructure, industrial parks, promoting economic and social development between localities.
Currently, Dong Nai is also implementing a road construction plan with a length of more than 60km, connecting from Dong Xoai ward to Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4, passing through Ma Da bridge.
